i have a regular copy of morrowind for my xbox, not goty edition. Ive been trying to follow the pinned tut on how to hex edit the morrowind.xbe file to make mods work, but in XVI32 whenever i search for "Z:\". it just says "hex string invalid"

could i get some help? hex editing is a new subject to me.

you problem is your searching for a hex string when you need to search for a text string.
when you search click on the empty circle next to "Text String" and type "Z:\" in the space under it.
