I don't understand what goes wrong. When I try to switch my xbox to ntsc with enigmah, my screen got flicking and rolling (I can take a picture if you want).
My xbox is a 1.6b pal modded with X3 chip.
Switching to NTSC works fine with 1.0 and 1.1 xbox on my TV. what did I do wrong?
thanks

Maybe your 1.6 xbox is displaying NTSC at a slightly different refresh rate to your 1.0 and 1.1, and your TV isn't able to display that refresh rate.

You might wanna try to change the video settings from the X3 config screen...

I tried that, and it did like enigmah. I tried on TV without any HD res and it was fuzzy.
My point is also to use a PC screen (LCD):
- it works almost good with older xbox: no HD, just 480i. when I try 480p or 720p (my 19'' screen is 1024 max, so no 1080i) I got 2 images. One on the left, and one on the right. it's like the progressive scan is seperated on half ...
- on 1.6b: I got PAL 60hz without colors (who doubt it?), but the NTSC (480i, 480p, and 720p) won't display anything.
Any clue about how to handle this? either solution might be good for a start. The best might be having both working fine.
thanks

try reseting your eeprom in x3 config take video shots if necessary to pause to a point where you can read your screen to do what you need to do?
