I am having a problem with my xecuter 2.6 installed xbox (1.4).

This image shows the problem - the picture is bascially unwatchable and is like it for original games, backups or when playing from the hardrive. To save me ripping the thing to pieces and chucking them out the window in frustration - could anyone please suggest the likely cause of this problem so I can go straight to it?

As you can see from the next picture it is fine for the evox dashboard screen and the first ms loadup screen.

Is it a problem with a particular part of the wiring?

did you just install the chip before this started happening? did it just start out of the blue? what bios are you using?

Sorry should have said. I have used this chip on another board - that one then broke so I got another M/board - i have a 40GB hard drive in there loaded with Evox. It works fine in every other way except the display - just wondering if anyone else had had this problem. I'm not sure what bios it is using - would this matter? I have a feeling it is 4983 (does that make any sense! - it was so long ago that I put it on there)

Did you check the region?

If you mean is it an NTSC board then no it's not - but my LCD will display either anyway..... anyone else got any thoughts?

are you using an HD pack for your x-box???

if you are then you will get a problem!!!!!!!!
