I don't know why after an hour or so of playing or so my xbox turns off, sometimes its a longer time sometimes its less, it just turns off alone. Does anyone knows what can it be or the solution to it. sad.gif
It has an EXO X dashboard and a chip to read copies. Thanks

could be a heat issue...you may want to make sure your fan is plugged in.

Any change to the eject LED colour? Goes orange its overheating
What version Xbox? Early one could be the MCPX overheating and about to fall over
Complete power down? If so may be the Ac input pins where they solder to the PSU
More info needed

Well it turns off completely and my fan its plug in and running and it doesn't change the led color before turning off, sometimes i play for 2 hours and i check the CPU and the MPU?? can't remember the name are like in 47-50 C which i think is not very hot but i really don't know. And after playing for a while and turning the xbox off by myself i need to wait for a while to turn it on again otherwhise it won't turn on, even though the fan would move a little like trying to turn on. And i don't know which version my xbox is how cani know it?
Thanks

Really why????????? uhh.gif uhh.gif uhh.gif

The MCPX should not be hot.
12 &3 have heatsinks so you can take it as read that these run warm anyway
If the MCPX is on its way you can't easily replace this.
You could try another PSU (Power Supply) just to rule that out .

Mmm then maybe it can be the power supply because the original burn so i had to buy generic one, besides the MCPX was not really hot, but the power supply was hot as hell. I'll see if i change it or plug another fan.

Thank you very much biggrin.gif

Check all the solder joints on the bottom of the power supply. I would just reflow them anyway even if they looked good.

A friend had a similar issue on an original PSU and it fixed the problem. Perhaps it was dumb luck, I dunno. I since have obtained the box and modded it. The thing still runs great.
