My XBOX is very slow at loading anything. Especially from the hard drive. I want to know if there is a way to defrag it or what are my options to clean it up? My xbox used to be really fast. now it takes minute to load even halo maps.

You can't defrag. The most you could do is reformat but that'll just erase everything off the hdd. Try clearing the E:\cache\ and XYZ paritions and see if you see a difference...

there is nothing in e cache and x,y have nothing, z has less then 2MB in it.

could there be any other solution to this problem? update the bios maybe (i dont know how to do that)? or ?

What chip are you using, i would update the bios weather it fixes it or not, i wouldnt be using a beta bios. I recommend you use an xecuter bios. If your using a xecuter 2.x series then use x2 5035, or x2 4983.

It could just be that your hdd is dying

Aladdin Advance V64 for XBOX 1.0-1.2 bios bought it before i knew anything.

how would i update my bios and which should i use for this chip

lol try cleaning the z drive it seems to be full
