I recently modded a ver. 1.6, (this is not my first install but is my first 1.6 install). Everything went well, xbox and chip worked as it should. After about a week whenever the xbox is unplugged it takes about an hour to finally get it to boot up to the chip. Has anyone else had this problem?

Is it common for ver 1.6 power supplies to go bad? The Xbox will boot into the MS dash since the HDD is locked, it just has a hard time booting from the chip. There was no problem when it was first installed. I checked all solder points and everything looks good. Is there a possibility that the chip is defective (xecuter 3 CE)?
