Here is my situation,

I got a 40gig HD to install into my xbox, have everything backed up. However, I did not use my xbox HD
password, I just wanted to mess around with getting the hang of locking and unlocking first.

Situation, Xbox 1.6 softmodded with XboxHDM and UDE.

Started my xbox, loaded Config magic, before i pressed start on config magic, i swapped to the 40 gig HD
Let it read the info from that, It gave me the current user password, which did not match my original HD
password. Marked it down. shut down.

Booted up PC with the xboxhdm/UDE CD with 40g HD on master. messed around with some of the tools
before attempting to lock, xinfo read the drive info and gave me a matching user password that config
magic gave me. So i rebooted to option 4 on Xboxhdm/UDE cd, option 4 is DOS with locking/unlocking tools.

Locked the drive with the password that config magic and xinfo gave me. Now I cannot unlock the drive.

All programs(ie: xinfo, config magic) still show me the password they showed me before and that i used to
lock the drive, but nothing will unlock the drive.

anyone come into this situation or have any ideas except the 50$ for the A-FF Recovery options.
