Hey guys, I nee some opinions

I have 2 drives in mind

Seagate 300GB w/16MB cache
WD 320GB w/8MB cache

Seagate has 5yr warranty, and WD has 3yr warranty.

Basically im contemplating over the extra 20 gigs vs cache vs warranty. Seagate has the upper hand in warranty and cache but I will lose 20 gigs compared to the WD.

Does the 16mb cache have a huge effect when loading vids, games, music from the hdd? is the 16mb noticeable compared to the 8?

Im leaning towards the 300 gig bc of the cache, but if it doesen't make a huge impact im just going to grab the 320 gig.

Here are the models? Anyone have the xbox compatibility chart for hdd's? want to make sure it will work first.

Seagate Barracuda Model Number: ST3300831A
Western Digital Caviar EIDE (WD3200JB)

thanks!

iirc the 16mb wont benefit you any extra than an 8mb, i think thats the most the xbox uses is 8mb.
