The modded xbox will play a cracked version of the game and the unmodded will obviously play the original. Is this possible? I am talking about an off line system link.
Yeah, it's possible.
I did it with Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow.
Copied the game to my hard drive, and my friend used the disk.

I think you had a typo there. You didn't mean cracked. I think you meant "backup".
