I reforamtted my HDD with Slayers Auto installer and I was trying to correct a problem of slow downloads. When you use DVD2Xbox to download the game it takes forever... Halo takes about 45 min to download. So I reformatted the drive using the Auto Installer and it did not help. I swaped the DVD drive with another Thompson drive and still no change. Can someone tell me what the nexts steps would be to determine what is wrong? My HDD is a WD 120GB drive. Could it be possible that it needs to be defragmented or formatted by windows then reformatted by the Auto Instsaller? This particular Xbox is a v1.0 and has a Thompson Drive with a white Duo X2.

Some games are like 2 -3 gb maybe u have a slow internet connection i have rogers high speed cable and it took 20 minutes to back up my copy of Ninja Gaiden to the Xbox I think the long time is normal. But I find DvD 2XBox is the best way to backup your games to the hard drive

Not sure. I've done it only twice, and it took just short of forever.

I am not dowlaoding to a PC. I am downloading the game from a disc to the Xbox HDD. And it is really slow...
