I have an X2.6 that I used to use as a solderless chip for upgrading hard drives in softmodded xbox's. I have only the chip itself and the attachment with the switches. I used the Xapt3r to do the installs. I now want to permanently solder it into an xbox. The Xapt3r just had a connection to the LPC (now using the pinheader), and a wire that connected to the D0. Can I not just install the pinheader and a wire into the D0 and run the chip? If so, where do I connect the wire from the D0 onto the chip (ie. where is the D0 connection on the chip)? The install manual is for the X3 and shows a bunch of extra stuff that I don't think I need. Thanks for the help.
