wow... the main quest is extrmely short. wow. i know thats not the whole purpose of the game, but you dont even have to go to some cities to finish it. the story could have been HUGE, but it was actually very simple. heck you dont even have to close but a a few select gates.

Is it true that once you finish the main questline all the gates are closed?

yep, i still had AT LEAST 10-12 gates left open. now they are gone

I am going to hold back on the main quest until I close at least 10 more gates. Thanks for the info hamwbone

in completing the main quest i only closed 2 oblivion gates, to bad because i didnt know the closed lots of items and expeirience in those gates
