I know piracy is generaly prohibited but I am just making an analogy here. I was thinking about
this when I arose this morning. The addiction is quite similar (obviously without the health risks).
Think about it. They are both illegal which is also something they share in common.
Crack- You smoke this drug and almost get immediately hooked. In the addiction, you are looking
for the next "best" hit. The problem is you are chasing something that has no end. You persist until
you get to a point where all you care about is finding that next big/best hit.
Piracy- You have access to everything and most of the times, FREE. You say to yourself "If I can
get this (insert next big thing here), I will be SO happy. You get that next big thing, mess with it
for 5 minutes, then start looking/hoping/waiting for the next best thing. It will never come. Just
like crack, it will never come.

LOL. Thanks Lizardking. I did almost take it in the can for Halo 2 though. Then I found out it was a
fake and declined.

I will agree you you guile as I'm the same way with movies. I've downloaded them and made my own and I must have at least 400 on CDs. Thing is, I never really watch them. Even the ones I've never seen in the theatre or wherever. They are still piled up unwatched.
Mostly it's because I don't have the time. I have workout time, work, martial arts class and then dinner. I get home at 7:30 only to go to bed at 10pm. Too damn tired to do anything else but lay on the couch.
Thank God for the weekend.

It's funny that you mention movies. I have over 150 Dvd's with Divx on them and I too almost NEVER watch. Fitting usually 4 to 6 movies on a DVD is a lot of movies. Not to mention the almost
500 DVD's I already own. It's a sickness, but a fun one.

Boris Floricic was a hacker in Germany.
He was a pioneer in hacking NDC (now NDS) cards (can anyone say free directv)
Anyways NDC (NDS) had offered Boris a job. He turned NDC (NDS) down.
Boris went missing...2 days after he went missing he was found..hung it the middle of a park.
His death was ruled a suicide.
Kinda wierd that it took 2 days for him to be found in the middle of a park in Berlin.
But then again it is not so wierd when you consider that NDC (NDS) security staff is mostly former Mossad agents.

Well, for me it's kinda a hobby. People used to collect coins and stamps. Were are the technology generations. Sure, I too have a shit load of movies I don't watch (most I took the time to back up my self), and even more games. The fun part for me is when some one comes over and say "Have you play 'xxxxxxxxx'?", I say "I have it, and this, and this one to, oh and another one, have you seen this one?" It's just my stamps, or coins, or comic books.

Yep, BRAGGIN rights!! Aw yeah. I was at a family party last weekend and this goofy cousin of my
wifes start's talkin Xbox with me (like he know's all the inside shit). It's hard not to laugh at him.
Anyways, he says "There's only one game that I am waiting for and I think it's coming out in
August, Soul Caliber 2". Now THAT is gonna be the game! It's even gonna have Spawn in it. (This
goof is about 35 btw) I proceed to tell him "I had that game almost 2 months ago". He basically
didn't question me because he probably thought I was full of shit. I told him all the cool things he
could do with a "modded" Xbox. He was afraid something might happen to his Xbox. I have to laugh at him.
