HI,

I confess to being a NEWBIE at moding xbox, but I need so help.

I have installed the spiderGX into my xbox (ver 1.4).

It loads the SpiderGX OS and looks like it works ok, but that’s as far is a got.

I have tried flashing a new BIOS on to it, but it does not seem to work. I have read that you should use CDRW or DVDR media; I just used a CDR could this be the problem? When I flashed the BIOS, it started to go through the three steps, there is no conformation message that the bios flash was successful. Should there be one?

Which BIOS can be loaded on to the spiderGX and which is the best to use?

Can the BIOS be flashed via network cable?

Use a CD-RW, i used a 210mb small size one and it word for me. And even after modding the xbox, cd-r are still bad for thansfering data from comp to box, it jsut doesn't read it.

And BTW, after u flash it, u should see the dashboard after rebooting, not the bios screen.
