hi i got a core because of the shortages and now i have every thing for my xbox 360 but i want the chrome dvd tray. My friend has a premium and is going to sell it. I was wondering if there is anyway to take his dvd cover and eject button and put them into mine.

Yes but to get the DVD Eject button off you would have to void your warentee.

yea, its an easy switch.. but just like xboxexpert said youre going to have to void your warranty

p.s. does anyone know where to get the 360 premium dvd bezels? i got a core the first day, but im prob gonna paint it since my warrantys up and what not, so i dont know

Its not up yet, you still have a couple more months. I'm 99% sure that they extended it to 6 months because of problems.

You could also get the chrome faceplate that xcm made and use taht bezel... looks like stock.

You dont have to void the warrenty to put the chrome bezel off. My friend managed to take his core bezel off without the warrenty sticker even budging.

i want a core one because i hate the silver. it should be just like the old xboxes.

I like the "chrome". I don't let anyone touch the DVD bezel or the eject button or HDD cause I don't want any finger prints on my chrome lol. I like to polish it every once in a while to keep it blingin'

The xbox's i buy are all premiums that i mod up for people, the dvd bezel gets painted over anyway so if anyone wants to swap me out their bezel and eject buttons for a chrome one, id be happy to as long as you pay shipping.

The eject button would void the warranty, not the bezel... so as for your friend, he's no wizard..lol

I know what i am talking about the eject button as well, it is not hard to get the eject button out , lift up the 2 front clips at the top and slightly pull on it, then lift up the eject button and it will easily come out. I have swapped this many times with cores.
