Im not sure but is it true that when you try to log onto xbox live with a modded xbox you will be banned? Just making sure because i dont want my live account to get banned cause i have the same one on the 360

If your xbox is softmodded then no you will not get banned.

what did u softmod your xbox with? krayzies ndure gamesave installer? isn't safer to switch your softmod off?

actually i used the how to soft mod your xbox in 10 minutes one.

Never heard of it, but krayzies doesnt even take me 4 minutes its that simple.

im thinkin about using SID v.4.0 This seems like its safe for LIVE. But i heard that if you unplug your xbox's power cord it will mess up your xbox. Is that true as well?

Dont use sids! youll have nothing but problems. Use Krayzies NDure. And if you do use sids make sure you Sign up for there forums cause youll be there alot trying to fix your xbox. Alot of people come here for help with sids. Sids has there own forum sids users need to go to sid forums. Most or all people here use NDure. There mite be some that use sids. But who knows. Well, like i said before, i dont know where to start or where to get any tuts for NDure.

Just ask any questions you need here about ndure, it is so simple and it is the best softmod available. Theres plenty of tuts, I'll find you one now.

In case you don't know how to get to xbins a.k.a. the usual place:

Ok then basically it boils down to (this is how i did it anyway):

1. Obtain a memory card, controller drivers & usb adaptor
2. Obtain one of the 3 games that are exploitable (splinter cell, mech assault & 007 agent under fire)
3. Download action replay
4. Download krayzies ndure installer 1.1 from xbins
5. Read the krayzie ndure installer 1.1's readme
6. Using action replay transfer the 2 savegames onto the memory card which is plugged into your computer through a controller which is hooked upto usb using the adaptor.
7. Put the memory card into your xbox and copy the 2 savegames over to the xbox. (I ran into problems if there was any other splinter cell savegames on the xbox hard drive.
8. Put the game that matches your gamesave exploit in the xbox and load up the gamesave (which on splinter cell was Start Game -> Load Linux Profile -> Checkpoints.)
9. This will now run krayzies installer which has step by step instructions, everytime u press a button it will popup a message and explain what is happening and tell you what to do.
10. 1st backup your eeprom.
11. Now install softmod.
12. Once softmod is installed it will turn your xbox off, remove disc and power up.
13. Gain FTP access and transfer the files in E:\backups\eeprom\ to a safe place on your computer.
14. transfer any applications you want to your xbox (xbox media center & dvd2xbox i recommend).
15. done

Never mind, i figured it out, im so dumb The readme says to not unzip the files? Should i not unzip the save folders or should i?

well wish me luck, im actually pretty scared of what might happen. I am on LIVE frequently and i hope this doesnt effect the xbox and the mod.

Can anyone help me out, i put linux and sam profiles from the 2 saves into the memory card but for some reason the game isnt pickin up on the game profiles.

yeah, i can... you have to 'copy' the game saves to the XBOX Hard Drive to be able to load them... i dont think it loads from the memory card at all!!! which is kind of sad!!!
