I'd really like to use UIX but without remote control support (only the Select button works) this isn't an option.

Has there been any fixes to correct this?

There is code in the UIX forums to fix this, I have done it and it works great now. Sorry but I didn't save the link but I I know it's here somewhere. Good luck!
