I would like to connect to my xbox NOT using ftp - is there any options or software that does this?
I have no worries with xbox to PC through SMB - the last frontier is that I want to browse my xbox through the MS network (My networks)

So you wanna be able to browse the xbox from within windows explorer?

Just open my network places and click add new network and use ftp it's not so bad and it will add it to your network places. ftp://user:pass@ip of xbox/

Thanks Noodlez, i knew i could do that but I was seeing if there was a way of explore not using ftp.

Im using the xbox for file storeage more so than a console and Im trying to make it simple to connect to.

1) this really has nothing to do with XBMC

2) Install linux on it and use the samba server in linux
