I download these trainers paks people put together, save them to the c:\Trainers folder, run Evox, and find many are the exact same trainer, just someone changed the filename. blink.gif

I've downloaded so many evox trainers that I have tons of duplicates. People have renamed the ETM's as they prefer. Some file names are so cryptic that it's impossible to know what game they're for, so I can't find the duplicates to delete them.

Has anyone created an xbox utility to manage ETM files stored in c:\Trainers folder, basically view all the trainers by the title, as seen in evox, sort them by name, and delete the duplicates?

Any help here would be fantastic.

Maybe the Evox Team can add this funcionality to the next dashboard version. Like pressing Y or X button to move the duplicate file from the C:\Trainers directory to a c:\Trash directory or something. This way if you make a mistake and want the deleted trainer back, then you can access the trash directory and reclaim it. Or later permanently purge the trash directory.

Also like that you can scroll the trainer list, very fast by holding left trigger and down on pad. I found this function by chance one day and BOY! was it a releif. I have 700+ trainers in my list. (reason I want to delete the many dupes)

Thanks to all for your time. biggrin.gif

you could use Xored's Trainer Launcher. just set the trainer path to c:\trainers in its ini. also enable the delete trainers key. Here is the code in the ini to do both (just find the line in the ini and make it look like these)
CODE
Trainers_Path        = "C:\Trainers"

and
CODE
# Set to TRUE if you wish to be able
# to delete trainers from your hdd
# during trainer selection scene
# delete combo (both triggers + dpad->left)
Delete_Trainers_Key    = "TRUE"

Oh Dude! That was the perfect one! Thanks for the tip. Edited Xored's INI file. Works like a dream.

Many thanks for your time. biggrin.gif

Kudos to Xored team for making this possible!

glad you got it working

would the xored trainer launcher run off another dash? or just evox?
theperfekt001
its an app like any other. so it runs from anywhere. thats the point. so you arent constricted to using evox anymore. its even built into XBMC now.

i wanted to know cause Evox lags manhunt to shit.
