is there a way to make my ring of light red i cant solder

Yeah I'll do it, or go with bong he's pretty good too, either way.

I currently have red, blue, and white SMT leds (so if you're doing red you can pick one of the other colors for the error code)

hey g0tm4xx, are your leds the bi color or do you put 2 single colors on? if you have bicolor, could i buy some blue with red error from you????

he puts 2 leds on, and solders the ground side to one side, then bridges it with the negative side on the other LED.

dont know if you guys know but if you solder a wire to the center pad(ground) of each bicolor led on the rol, to the center smd leds ground, than the ring will stay on all the time, even when the system is off. with this mod the center light(power symbol) will not be lit when the system turns off, just the ring will be lit when off

which sounds kinda silly.

Yea im gonna do my ROL blue.. its going to be very difficult, since i only have the average user experience for soldering... but thats okay, im a beast. lol. And if all goes well... ILL DO IT FOR YOU! lol.

Yes, you unplug your video cables and power on the system
