No one likes you biggrin.gif
Are you seriously bothered about it??? It means nothing
MaxEgg
Just be happy is hasn't gone down. LOL

The rep people give you, if you are good player they give you a good review if not the other way around.

Ive noticed that if I give good rep to a player that has just a regular xbox (halo2) then they instantly get 3 stars...

Your Rep should slowly creap up over time, even if nobody gives you reviews. It takes about 6 months to get a star.

My gamercard stars right to the end.
How does that work then.

Don't be so dramatic. I've been playing since day one (Nov. 22), and by the second day, I had all five stars, and I barely played online then. I was more interested in playing PGR3's single player campaign instead of its online career, and that was the only game I owned then.
MaxEgg
I think he meant, as long as you do not recieve bad reviews, your GT will go up based on MS's timescaling system. (1 star=6 months no bad reviews)

If this is true or not, I've no idea.
DaShiZNiT
well get this, I had a friend that would keep spamming me Halo2 msgs, so I avoided the player, under rep, and guess what, I watched his rep turn from 3-4 stars! So clearly this "rep" is both bad and good!

Yes, I have had no reviews against my account at all and it took me about 6 months to get 1 star.

To be precise I got my Live account the day of the x360 launch, and I started at 3 stars and look at the number of stars I have now.
spinr34
mine went up over a few weeks and i got my console at launch. i haven't played that much online but i guess it was enough smile.gif everyone gets 3 stars to start with.

The Xbox 360 was released on Nov. 22. That means that it hasn't even been in stores for six months. In fact, tomorrow, April 22, is the Xbox 360's five month "anniversary."

My rep went up to five stars within the first two weeks, just from no one saying anything bad about me. I think the more online games you play the faster it goes up.
flashfreak
What he said ^^

I had mine and within 2 weeks, i was on 5. It doesn't do anything anyway
Rockaholica
mine went from 3 to 5 in 3 days, and i have 50/50 reviews...so i dunno, i think it might boil down to how many people you play with. so if you play bigger pgr races alot like i did my first 3 days maybe you will go up...its just an idea
lantus
rep is crap..i wouldnt worry about it too much

an example of how lame it can be is the other night i was playing Top Spin 2 online against some dude. Anyway he beat me 3-0 in the first set but i figured out his game and came from behind to take the next 2 sets..well actually i was on match point when he decided to quit. Next thing i know he gave me bad rep lol

just because i beat him fairly on live. This is an example of how some players can react toward you when playing online.
gordita37
thats a funny little story lantus, although I hate assholes like that tongue.gif

I got loads of "unsporting" playing Call of Duty 2 just because I was good at it. I went through a streak where I was basically dominating everyone every game (and I'm polite about it - I switch to losing team/teams with less players, never trash talk etc... - I just happened to be really good at that game) and my "unsportings" just grew and grew. Never lost a star though. Mine have been at 5 since right off the bat and never changed.

I find the one vs. one sporting games to be the worst, it seems that at least half the players just give you an "avoid" if you beat them. That was the case in NBA 2k6 at least.

I was on the other day and hadn't really played much online multiplayer, so I hadn't really gotten any rep yet. I had 3 stars when I began playing PD0 online and 4-5 hours later I had 4.5 stars instead of 3. I think I'd played about 200 or so people and had not one bad comment on me, so I think just as long as you don't get bad comments your rep will go up with the more people you play.
