I had a unleashx dashboard and tryed to use dvd2xbox to copy a game onto the hard drive. i was warned that there was not enough space available, but must have pushed the wrong button( wasn't even awake yet) because it began downloading anyway. i stopped it but now my xbox only flashed the unleashed logo. Now I've installed slayers evox but It only gives me load disk and file settings on the dashboard. I did some research and Krayzies installer puts nkpatcher(i think thats the name) that sets up a virtual c drive so now i am screwed for evox. I can ftp but still cant read my real c drive. now my first problem seems to be fixed as my e drive is clear but now i have this new problem. no fully functional dashboard. I am downloading xbox ultimate boot cd and auto installer. deluxe. v2.11. if I install unleash from one of these cds will it erase the slayers and set me back up with unleash without any probs? Just checking because i don't want to screw up even more. Plz help me or give me some insight on how to fix these problems.

I just recenly had similar symptoms. I booted to splinter cell(gamesave exploit) and the only option i got was to remove softmod. But my xbox booted to the MS dash. So i just removed the softmod, did the gamesavae exploit, and softmodded it again. no problem.

If your dash is gone just use the rescue disc to fix it.

I re-rented the right mech assault game, bought the wrong one, and reinstalled krazies. I lost my ms dash somewhere but im confident I can fix it. I was dumb and never made a rescue disk, doing that now. had to do a minimum install because of the ms dash prob, but now I have a working dashboard. Had an error at the end of the install but so far it doesnt seem serious. i can do a bit of troubleshooting to iron things out. Thank you for your help and great program krazie. hopefully my mistakes will help others avoid or fix theirs.
