i installed an xecuter 2.6 in my v1.6b xbox...i'm to the point where i've flashed and set up the dashboard but when i put in a game it won;t load unless i disable the chip. If its enabled it goes to a blank screen. Also when i select ms dashboard all that comes up in a big Evolution X screen. whats teh deal with that? I know its two questions but i keep thinking i'm getting to the end and then something else comes up. Thanks for any help!

Maybe clear your cache, turn IGR off, change your video region in EvoX to Auto instead of NTSC. Could be one of many things.

i know i just recently modded my friend's v1.6 box, and nothing would run/execute besides the dashboard when i was running the x2 or evox bios from bank1. when i reflashed the x2 bios onto bank2, all went smooth.
