I read the rules and I read around about modchips and modifying the actual xbox bios. I am very new to all this and I don't have the money to spend on mod chips and all. I am putting my wife through medical school, so I decided to give the modifying bios a try. I read around I am a bit confussed though. So far I believe I need a 007 hack that comes with a evox install, also need to figure out what version of xbox I have to determine which bios to install. Other then those steps what else should I do, I am sorry if I soound like a complete noob but I am. Thanks for any help that can be given.

P.S. I am quite lost on how to install evox

ok im new to the windows section here, but you seem to have the xbox in the original state as in
a "stock box" meaning just out the shop floor nothing modifeid,

anyway there are three ways to mod your xbox,
1, buy and install a modchip $$$
2, flash the "tsop" (this is the same as a modchip and there is a forum section explaining how)
3, software mod exploit


from what you have read i would say read alottt more first and then ask for help in the newbie
section as what would be the best option for your needs i think TSOP flash
but this depends on your xbox version check the forums to learn more
