Are there any Aussie FFXI players out there at all apart from me????
I keep teaming up with Americans which is ok but with a 14 hour time difference its hard to keep your party together.
And at level 12 I'am stuck in Bastok where I can kill everything around me but when I travel too far I die.. again and again.
Thats why I need a party so I can travel but I need people who are awake when I'am
So please...there must be someone

The game came with a 30 day free trial period so not sure what his on about "sucking his creditcard dry", sounds more like a case of someone not knowing what they were doing before they started.

So I'am still the only one here in Australia with the game, he took his back

I had guessed there was some kind of fees, even though nothing was written on the box and the idiot behind the counter shrugged his shoulders. I just didn't know it'd take over my xbox and also take ages to install and want the credit card up front before I could even trial the game, but even after this I was getting server errors while submitting the forms online.. retrying 20-30 times on each screen made me think they didn't deserve my money.
I really only started the thread so someone might have a bit of a laugh at my misfortune and stupidity
