Thraxen a new moderator of the emu forum can not delete posts, and since Iriez has not logged
in over a month and hardly even comes around i suggest Thraxen is made head moderator instead of Iriez.
this would allow Thraxen to do more for the emulator forum then is being done now.

furthermore i'd like to suggest that moderator HoRnEyDvL is replaced by someone who spends more time
in the emulator forum, for that task i'd like to suggest likklebaer mostly because she knows alot about whats
going on and has expressed the same feelings about wanting to make the information stored within the forum
easier to find.

I also suggest Thraxen & Likklebaer are made moderators of the Homebrew forum so that
threads like that of Xmugen can be moved there and moderated accordingly.

I also hereby request that i am allowed editing abilities so that i can keep on adding answers in
my new Faq/Answers thread which will be pinned shortly thus replacing the other pinned threads
thereby making the forum look alot cleaner.

in conclusion i feel that with my suggestions the emulator and homebrew forum would be much easier
to maintain and thus resulting in a better place for beginners and advanced people to read and post in.

This in no way is meant as an insult towards Iriez and HoRnEyDvL,
Iriez has apparantly lost interest in xbox emulation and HoRnEyDvL allready moderates
three other forums next to the emulation forum.

I feel that with these two people moderating both forums the information stored within can be easier located
now that the search option is offline.

And.. nobody cared.

A few points; moderators should not be deleting posts; in order of Thraxen to be given more perms, he doesnt have to be moved into the head moderators group, and certainly doesnt need to replace another head mod, any permissions can be set on a per-moderator, per-forum basis. Not to say that it won't be done, just that isnt necessary.


Just FYI, this could have been done with a PM to HSDEMONZ, he simply needs to move you to the 'Member' group.

Personally.. I'm shocked I missed this post. I'll re-read it tomorrow.. promise.. and give that forum some attention.. including dealing with the mods MIA and not having enough privs issues.

also moderators should be allowed to delete posts when neccesary,
for example and the main reason i brought up the deleting thing : there is a official Zsnexbox thread
and in that thread we went offtopic a little too much, so after the discussion was over i asked thraxen
if he could delete the offtopic posts so the faq could be only about zsnexbox.

however he could not delete the offtopic posts so its kind of a cluttered mess now,

for stuff like that it would be handy if he could remove posts from threads.

also shortly after i made the original post Thraxen requested editing options for me,
but nothing ever happened after that.

There is no need.

He could make them invisible though. That is how the need to delete posts is supposed to be handled.

If he chose to not make them invisible, that was a choice he made. If he's having issues using his mod privs he's supposed to contact me.

I approve mod positions. If I think someone is worthy.. I'll approve them. I'll base that decision on my own feelings and opinions.. and on feedback from others. Also on an individuals actions I see. XS isn't a democracy.

Sorry to post in your closed thread HSD, just wanted to add that another option for a cluttered thread is to split the off-topic posts into another thread, and toss that thread in the garbage bin.
