what files do i write , or read whil flashing.. ??? idont understand this part. please help

when you flash your modchip you are writting a bios onto it. you should get a bios from the "usual place" and simply format and flash your chip with it. use the dms website and follow the tutorial. they make it simple for you.

note : when you pick a bios you should use xbtool to see what .xbe it will look to first to load as a dash. if you a using evox then you installed evoxdash.xbe onto your xbox, the bios should first load "evoxdash.xbe"

well the bios is basically the first thing the xbox will load, it tell the box what file to load. the usual place is xbins and thats all i can really tell you, do a search in google.

I might suggest the xecuter 2 4981 bios, thats the one that seems to support the most things and it works great.

If I were you i would check out the FAQ in the forums, there is a great informational tutorial all about how the xbox works, including the bios and dashboard.

(ps. when you find xbins you are going to need a bios and the dashboard)
