Sorry if this is answered somewhere - I've searched and read all of the FAQs that looked relevant. I'm trying to hex edit my morrowind.xbe to let me run mods, but it's not working. I've tried it several times, and I just want to make sure it's even possible for me.

I have the original platinum version of the game - not game of the year. Can I still do this? I'm happy to continue trying if it's possible, but I want to make sure I'm not wasting my time if it's not possible.

i know you can use most of the mods using the cache method, because i have the platinum edition, but as far as hacking the xbe, it doesnt really seem to work.
