I have been trying to find a place that describes how to dual boot with Unleash X and the stock Dashboard on a softmodded Xbox. can someone point me in the right direction?
theperfekt001

last time I posted there was a question like this and I was flamed like crazy for asking something that "shouldn't have been there in the first place" Thanx for making a Noob feel like an even bigger one. grr.gif

if you use krayzies 1.1, you can ftp the "extras" folder. this folder has the ability to use more than 1 dash board. I have mine set up so the eject button starts up with m$ dash and the power button starts up with unleashx

do you happen to know where I find a walkthough on how to do that?

'A nice thing about Krayzie's is dual-boot. You can set it up so if you boot with your Eject button, you go to a stock dashboard. YOu can then pop a disc in, boot it - play on Live no problem.'

Thanks a lot..you know who you are

count me in, at the moment my xbox starts with unleashx. if i use the eject button, it starts with avalaunch
it would be superb if it goes directly to xbmc instead of avalaunch

Have you guys tried looking up info on whatever softmod or installer or whatever you used? You have to change the settings there, because the bios is what boots the first program. You can set shortcut buttons in unleashx, so if you turn on your xbox and press right as unleashx is loading it will launch the program you set it to launch when you press a.

If you fellas used Krayzie's Installer there are specific directions in the readme on how to setup "Extras" and from there you can setup dualboot very easily. Heck if you're a newb and didn't use Krayzie's Ndure you should probably still dl if just for the extras for unleash.

Setup my buddies box w/ Krayzie's 1.1, dualboot to xbmc in under 10 minutes tonight and I'm a newb.
