Vossenack is an awesome map... i wish they sold market points in 500 increments.

eh.. not impressed with the two free maps and I can't justify paying about $5 on two more maps. Anyone else angry about paying $50 for a game and being forced to pay more for more maps? I don't know, perhaps i'm just cheap.

i had the 400 points ...so it was this or an arcade game.....these 2 paid maps are taking along time to d/l

Where do you live? Because where I live no one is forcing me to get the new maps. You paid $50 for the game and got what was on the game. The new maps are all bonus.

I agree though that the two free maps are pretty blase. I'm gonna wait and see if I can get the Free 500 Points, if not I'll pony up 5 duckets.

Anyhow, I agree no one is forcing me. It's just a bit frustrating when you can't play friends who have the pay maps because I don't want to pay for a couple maps. IMHO, $5 could be better spent somewhere else. Thats just my opinion though and i'm sure theres more than enough willing to pay cash for a couple maps. For me, it'd have to be at least 5 maps for $5. A dollar a map!

It's not until Friday at 6pm EST. They'll probably have something new at that time. I think last time you entered the email you used for signing up with Xbox Live. Or maybe just any email, I don't know.

I agree that paying for maps definately rubs me the wrong way. Maybe its because I'm an old school PC guy, but knowing that if this was a PC game there would be a flood of modder maps as well as official maps all for free rubs salt in the wound. Don't get me wrong I love the game and the 360 but it's the principal of the thing that irks me. I certainly hope they follow Bungies lead, which I considered a good compromise to the corporate money grubbing, by offering the premium maps for free at a later date. It would be nice if they offered seperate play lists as Bungie did for the premium maps until they were offered as free but I won't hold my breath.

It stunk when they added the new cars to pgr3 because if anyone in the online room was using one of the downloaded cars that you hadn't downloaded, then you couldn't get into the room. I tried for 2 hours to get into an online race, and finally gave in and bought the cars so I could race online. Hopefully this isn't the same way.

you should have just downloaded the free car because it contained all the other cars too! i did that and i was able to join games that were useing the other cars and even drive them if the room owner set it to lock car type
