I really wanna get this game but from what i can tell, the multiplayer is only for xbox live and not on the same system. I just wanna know if you can have up to 4 people playing on the same system, if not then i dont wanna buy this game.

one of the achievements is:
QUOTE
Multiplayer (10 points) Complete a 4-player game of UNO in any mode on Xbox Live.
im guessing its 4 player... otherwise there would be some pissed off people.

Good point, I would also like to know the answer to this please. If you can multiplayer offline, I probably wouldn't mind getting it since its only 400 pts.

you cant.

the multiplayer achievement is just playing against 3 other people on xbox live and not other people mixed with bots.
EDIT: trust me, i was kinda pissed off when i found out too. but i make due with the free week of live now. after that, i probably wont play it again because its not fun playing a card game by yourself.

Well that achievment says on xbox live. I know its multiplayer on live, but i want to play on the same console together with my wife, but if i cant do that, then i dont want the game.

i read that wrong, you want 4 people on your 360.... that would kinda be screwy because you would have to see everyones cards
edit:

im still wondering why people are going crazy over uno, one of the simplest card games ever next to war and go fish

Uno is a classic game, but you need options to play locally or it just sucks. Single player is boring playing with 3 computers and i dont really wanna play card games online with people i dont know.

I thought I saw an option for doubles. You may be able to play doubles with someone else against the AI... But I don't know for sure.

Yeah, you can play doubles, your on the same team so it doesn't matter about seeing the cards. I was a lil unhappy about realizing this too. Fun game though. Yeah when I first got it I wondered if I could play 4 people but then thought about it for a second and realized you would see all the cards.
