I would like to rip DOAX to my stock hard drive, so I can also install patches for it and run the game patches intact. Question is, I just got X2 4976.02 red working and now I just get the normal Xbox menus. So how do I rip everything to the hard drive now?
Also, I assume that in its present state, my Xbox can run import and "backup" games no problem?

You have to get a dashboard like EvolutionX to play software off of the HD

So even though I have X2 4976.02 installed, I have to overwrite it with the Evox bios and dash now? Or what?

From there I can go to the tutorials.

No no, the BIOS exists on your modchip, while the dashboard works off the HD. They are not the same.

ok, so I can stick with the bios I've got and still have the evox dashboard?
So in order to have the dash I need to network with my computer? or can I do it the same way I flashed with OZX with a CDRW?

Edit: forget it, figured it out myself.

you need to find a copy of evolution x, somewhere on the web. Then you need to make a boot disc. If your chip is working and you make the disc right. You'll boot into evox, instead of your ms dashboard. Then you can ftp to your pc. From there you are free to do just about anything.
