1) I have the drive going under windows, but the game shows up as a very small movie, is this normal?

2) Under isobuster the game shows up as 7.05 gigs, but is called a CD segment. Is this normal?

3) When extrating a game and asked to save the only option it gives is a .toa(?) file. However, if i type in game.iso it seems to save it as an iso file.

Just pretty much noob questions that it would be nice to know before I wasn't any dvd+r DL disks...

Last question hopefully...

Whenever I did the SS.bin part and type in the cmd or whatever you call it...I followed exactly what the guide said(thats on this site). I placed the drop down to media and made sure everything matched. Why is it that in the guide that comes with the package it gives around 4 lines of info to type in? After following the guide I didn't really notice any changes(no pop up menu's saying woo you did it). I'm guessing thats normal as well though...

So all in all why do I not have to put in the 4 lines of info...and once you send the command your not supposed to get an ok or message, correct?

This is how you get the SS. Any other way is wrong, basically.

Load up DVDInfoPro. Down in the bottom left, you can select your drive. Drag it down to the 360 drive. In the bottom right, there is an option in the drop down menu that says "Send Custom Commands." This will extend the right side of the program with a new window. Leave all of the default boxes checked, you don't need to mess with any of the settings.

You have 8 boxes here, all filled with 00s. Going from top to bottom (they are numbered in order), you can put in a command 8 bytes long. Each two digits is a byte.

AD 00 FF 02 FD FF FE 00 08 00 01 C0
AD 00 FF 02 FD FF FE 00 08 00 03 C0
AD 00 FF 02 FD FF FE 00 08 00 05 C0
AD 00 FF 02 FD FF FE 00 08 00 07 C0

Put those commands in, in order. After each string, click the "Send Command" button. Once you have sent all four commands, look for a button in the top right. I believe it is the farthest button to the right. It will say "Save As Hexidecimal BIN File" or something similar. Save your file as ss.bin.

There are 12 boxes....and 12 lines of code....You meant that right?
Alec
Yes. My counting skills aren't so good, these days. tongue.gif
