Do you have to add your drive's key using the Hex editor to xtrm0800.bin? None of the tuts are 100% clear on this subject and I just wanted to be sure.
If so, do you simply goto line: 4000 like in the xtreme_proper.bin and paste your key?
please help!

You dont edit the 0800.bin file.

im sorry...the tut I read said to "repeat step 5" and step 5 stressed having the key on the firmware...so I just wanted to be sure ...thanks again
