You have to take the vent's out first (Pry them up with a small flat screwdriver.
M$ Repair, uses a special metal key, which is basically the same principal as "homemade keys".
Also, if you eff up your console case, and its still under warenty, buy a new case from a site like llama. But be sure you kept the sticker that is inback of the faceplate.

Not that I've looked around a lot, but is it possible to remove the case without breaking the sticker? I was thinking that you could bend the main shells towards each other on the front side as you open it, perhaps flexing the sticker but not breaking it? Or can I make it look somewhow like a broken sticker has not been damaged???

That would be impossible as the case needs to be completely sperated to open. It would not open if you do not seperate the front of the case. You cant bend the shells togather.

Okay, but how easily can the sticker be peeled off and reapplied? Any tips???

Maybe you could use WD-40 or Goo-gone to peel it off? But then you might not be able to reapply it.
I will not tolerate any more posts about stickers and pealing them off and reapplying them on another case to keep your warranty. If you want to take the stickers and mess with them on your own that fine with me but this post will not become another post about removing serial and warranty stickers with out breaking them and putting them back on so you can keep your warranty.
Closed, this post is in the tutorials sections so I dont see the need to keep it open for discussion.
