Are 1.8 and 1k8 resistors the same? If I cant find a 1k8 resistor, can I just double up a 1k and an 800 ohm resistor?
SICKdimension
1.8 = 1.8
1k8 = 1,800
1k + 800 in series = 1,800

Ok, thanks. On 123leds.com, they have 1.8m ohm, what is that? Is 1.8k the same as 1800? And one last question about wiring them: is there a way they have to be wired, such as the tolerance band(gold, silver or none) being the side that gets power first?
SICKdimension
1.8m = 1,800,000
1.8k = 1,800

There is no polarity to resistors, so they can't be wired backwards.

By the way, are you sure you're getting the right resistor? Because if it's LED wiring you're doing, 1.8k is way too much for anything.

Im not doing LEDs, I am doing the Dual Burst Mod . Thanks for the help smile.gif
