I've still got a few questions.
Okay okay, this may sound retarded, but here goes (both revolve around the same topic)
1.) When an X2L is flashed with EvoX (most current version 1.8.37xx), the EvoX dash should open up on boot if the chip is enabled? If the chip is disabled, it should boot to the M$ dash?
2.) Is the dash incorporated into the bios for EvoX or do I have to use a EvoX disc to put the dash on the machine?
Anyway, thanks in advance...

jin

so i'm a retard....just found out that the X2L boots up the dash if it's not found on the drive....
now the only question is - is it incorporated into the bios or do i still have to put it on the machine ala evoX disc....
thanks,
jin

Evox is a dashboard
you don't flash it
newbs really get confused by the Evox D.6 BIOS
Evox 1.8.xx.xxx is a dashboard, you burn it to a CD-RW and insert it in
Evox D.6 is a BIOS, you flash your X2L with it

ah....okie....
so after flashing, the machine can do all the neato tricks, and to get access to the dash, I have to upload it to the C drive (ala name that the X2L looks for) and then i should be set?
switch off = M$ Dash
switch on = EvoX Dash (once uploaded correctly)
?
thanks again,
jin
