If you read our extensive Smartxx v3 Review you know the SmartXX(info) v3 has a software controllable RGB-led (on PCB) and RGB-port (for external leds). Now an XBE example has been released (both binary and sources) showing how you can control the color of these LEDs from software. From smartxx.com:

Note: WiSo will also add support to change the color of the SmartXX RGB LEDs in his upcoming release of dvd2xbox(info).

I've been waiting for something like this, but for the xenium chip. Shame because I had a nice colour combination and pattern for when I listen to trance on XBMC.

hehe, sweet..... i like hearing from someone's little birdy that actually has some merit around here.

Cool new idea I must say even if I don't have a SmartXX. As far as Xenium having something new or similar coming along I'd be shocked, but it is coming from a mouth I tend to trust so we'll see.

im new in modding and im trying to ftp my **** * **** to my computer to modify them but im getting to confused,can anyone help me?
