I have two swtiches at the bottom of my xbox. Well today the wires became unsoldered, and now my xbox isnt working. I think the switches are there so I can toggle if I want to play on Xbox Live or not. But I never play on Xbox Live. Is there anyway to get rid of those switches, and my xbox works like it did before?

what kind of mod is it? sounds like a split TSOP, but youll have to check inside the xbox to be certain

I have no idea, a buddy of mine did it for me years ago...and i havent talked to him in a long time. Also he lives on the west coast, I'm on the east.

But I think my best bet is to just solder the wires back...Does it matter which wire I solder on the switch. Or does a specfic wire has to be placed on the right spot.

Well if there are only two places to put a wire like this || then no it doesn't matter just as long as one wire is on each side but if it's like this || | then yea it does but I can't help on that one
