This seller, zerodefect, has sold an Xbox360 Samsung DVD-ROM to at least two members (myself included) in a two-day time span. Although he has been active in the forums, he has not yet replied to my PM.

I won't jump to any conclusions, but zerodefect, you will want to take this opportunity to clear up any questions or misunderstanding between yourself and your buyers. If not, I will assume you have taken my money, or someone else's money, and I will handle appropriately.

If anyone has bought from zerodefect since June 8, positive or negative, (particularly if you bought a Samsung drive), please chime in here.

i did prefer western union when the only other option you gave me was send the money. i was in a hurry. i told you that i couldnt pick up your money because they were trying to id me (never happened before) and my roommate offered to pick it up for me so there wouldnt be any trouble for you. you decided to pull the deal. what do you expect me to do? reimbuse you money that you only lost because you took it back. i did what i could do. i could have just told you to take it back and that would be that but i knew you wanted the dvd drive. i operate a modding business so i come accross a ton of broken parts and i often try my best to either repair or sell what is good. i already opoligized as much as i could. i dont want to hear about it again.

as for everyone else, your products are already shipped except for one buyer, which has not been shipped yet do to the inclusion of a second item that will be shipped together when it arrives. i have received TONS of pm's and i do have other things to do. most often i am online while i am at work and have to hide that from other employees and bosses so i cannot reply to your pm's at that time.

everything was shipped ups and i was advised to allow 7-14 business days for delivery and it has not even been close to that yet. please everyone relax a bit and quit jumping to conclusions. i have been around these forums alot longer then most of you have and i dont plan on leaving anytime soon.

Sloppy Fat Dump: why would i ship you something that i never recieved money for? i told you the problem and you refused to switch the name so there is nothing i could have done for you. and before you all start wondering why he sent western union, he brought it up not me. i never asked him to use western union, he offered western union or send cash and i told him that i perferred western union (over cash in the mail, but paypal is always my first choice). it was because of this that caused problems, i didnt even think about my missing id at the time never occured to me. so instead of sticking him with the bill, i offered to have him switch the payment into my roommates name and he could pick it up for me. that was what i was even advised by western union to do in the situation. i communicated that too you and you choose to take your money back. that was your decision and i was thinking about that and i no longer am going to refund your $15. that was your fault not mine.

It's been a week and zerodefect lost the receipt with the tracking number so I don't know if anything has been shipped or not. I've sent PMs and some get answered and some don't. Just adding my .02 here.

His real name is Shawn. He contacted me on my e-mail trying to sell me some parts. He told me that he would sell me a brand new $60.00 DVD DL burner + two wireless controllers for only $50.00. That was if I sent him the money first.

I know adam34 is a scammer because as I said he is zerodefect's room-mate. As I was pending my transaction with zero, zero at one point made a bogus request for me to change the name (of the western union transaction) to, Shawn Lafontaine. THAT IS CRAZY. He told me that it was his roommate and that his roommate would pick up the money on his behalf. First, I don't know the guy and second, he wasn't part of the original transaction.

This adam34 guy e-mails me as I said from shawnlaf@hotmail.com. Coincidence? Zerodefect's roommate is named Shawn Lafontaine. Coincidence? Adam34 and zerodefect both live in Ontario, Canada. Coincidence? These guys are both out to scam you. Not coincidence.

escalate the claim. the dispute will end and if you dont escalate and nothing happens then it will go in his favor, so escalate the claim.

The stage you are in now, just gives the seller and you time to settle things, you want to escalate since hes a scamming piece of shit.

Im going to chime in with caution. I purchased a XBOX with x3 plus accessories from zerodefect for $135 and sent money using paypal on the 4th . After about a week through P.M he said he shipped in on Fri 9th. So its been 8 days. I know the evidence is against him, but I dont want to jump to conclusion yet. If I dont receive my items by the 23rd, THen I will officially report a complaint.

dont wait with caution, the guy made 3 accounts, file asap, they will, if he has funds put them on hold, file as item not received. If the seller doesnt respond they will favor on your side. File as item not received, thats the only way paypal will handle things outside of ebay. Don't wait, get it done, if you did get the item you could drop the claim and he would keep his money, but sorry to say a piece of shit with 3 accounts, you ain't getting shit from this dickhead. If paypal wont give you your money and you paid with credit card, then call your card company up and contest the charges, cuz if this POS dont have no money in his account, you might be SOL

Just a word of Caution to those who paid by PayPal. If this guy took that money from his account or spent it elsewhere, Paypal will NOT refund you your money. They will Not eat the cost. It's been done to thousands of people already and more everyday. Best thing to do is do a charge back on your CC. Thats the only way you'll get your money, Unless of course he wasn't smart enough to remove that money, as long as its still in his account they will refund. I got screwed a few months back for an ebay deal, and the seller didn't have funds, and PAypal told me that I would only get my money back if the guy transfered money to his account. Just wanted to let you guys know, they are NOT a bank, and are NOT governed by bank rules. We agreed to that when we signed the EULA I do hope ALL of you get what's your's.

I guess I got lucky twice then. I got ripped off by people on X-S and got my money back, even though I am not verified. (It took like 3 months though...) All you have to do is keep bugging them and act innocent
