Well, I installed it no problems...

...what was the big deal about...

I was using a key generated Product Key as well.

I mean, yes, I own a full corporate version, and I used a generated key just to experiment with the security of XP... yeah, that's the ticket... so no big deal, right?

Hopefully LIVE works out just the same!!!

They blacklisted serial numbers. Obviously, your Serial Number wasn't black listed.

I keep forgetting to get that damn thing. Thanks for reminding me! beerchug.gif

I read somewhere that they are forcing Corp users to get a new CD Key. I'm a little scared cuz I have a XP Corp and a CD Key generated by BlueList. And SP1 is installing as I type... I hope it doesn't fck anything up in my comp and make it so I can't use windows again.

Don't worry I've had it installed for a week now and no problems.

Ummm... I hope no one thought I had a "legit" copy... I know for a fact that the CD Key I was using was blacklisted!!! I got it in Thailand!!! (Man, that place is BIG... HUGE with the warez scene... not to mention being a man's paradise).

Any ...(after dreaming shortly of Thai women and Pina Coladas on the beach of Phuket)... way I used the method Dark Schneider mentions in his thread about 2 days ago... and that works JUST FINE!

Lets see 1/12/2002 been running XP Corp SP1.
Sysprep
XPKeyGen
BlueList release

No problems here...

My 13 year old formats his Comp every other week, and updates still to SP1 no problem.

Never heard this news about M$ trying something again. Is it verified Information or just another rumor?

Umm , you could not have been running XP Corp. with SP1 since 1/12/2002 . The SP1 pack was just released a couple months back . wink.gif

A full corporate version? Well that must be a lie, seeing how there is only Home and Pro, and the "corp" version is what they named the 2600 hacked build

Not true. There are corporate and enterprise versions. I don't believe they ares much different, however, you don't have to enter a serial number. Their for companies that have to install it on multiple machines. We use it at work. There is also a version that comes with MSDN that is pro and home on the same disk and you choose what type to use during the install.

Let me guess, your american wink.gif

In america 1/12/2002 means 12th January 2002.

However over here in the uk (possibly the rest of europe/world too I'm not sure) 1/12/2002 means 1st December 2002. We put the month and day the other way round.
