So, I was relatively inactive here until about a week ago. Going for my 500th post.

I only really noticed tonight that the Gamercard display which used to be in the left colum with the poster info seems to be missing. And it's not just me. Nobody I've seen has one anymore.

Did I miss something as far as admins removing this, or is it something I screwed up?

i read it was to save bandwidth. speculation as no admin has stated yet whether or not this is true to my knowledge

Ah. That sort of makes sense. But aren't these linked from mygamercard.net? How would it save X-S bandwidth to eliminate them? Unless we're talking about bandwidth on mygamercard.net.

I would PM an admin, but it's not a huge problem so I'll wait for one of them to find this.

Anyway, I'm going to bed. 12:07 AM, and I have to play in the high school wind ensemble at graduation tomorrow.

i thought that bandwidth rumor was started by a regular member? i don't know how his connections are, but i doubt that he would have a better source of information as far as board administrative stuff then you and the other mods IG. i just hope that it gets re-enabled at some point and that its not gone for good.

i doubt it will if you notice your version of xboxs from your profile are gone also...........xs needs better servers or upgrade to a real forum package invisionboard = crap

i used to run a forum with 190k members and we never had any bandwidth issues and there would be 400-1000 ppl on the boards all the time we never had to disable anything or remove things i dont get it but im sure someone will post and inform me

here's the skinny.. by the time you read this.. the Cards should be visible again.

It's not a bandwidth issue. it's a CPU/ram issue.

on 666 were were doing well over 2000+ people a minute for awhile that day, so to save an SQL Join on view

we temp removed the cards.

No biggie.

They should be back now.
