I was using an older build of XBMC and just updated to the May 28th build and now my RM (realmedia video files) will not play. I upgraded by deleting - the xbmc directory, xbmc games saves, the “0face008” folders from e:\udata and e:\tdata, and deleteing all files and directory on x, y and z. When I realized they wouldn't play, I did a couple hours of searching on here, and then I downloaded the windows codecs for MPLAYER and put them into system/players/mplayer/codecs/, but still no luck... please help...

why not just try the newest build?

try running it from File explorer and see if it works.

rm playback was broken back then.

it is however fixed now.

Thank you for the info.... I upgraded to the lastest version after reading through the responses and now it works... ... I was a bit afraid of the latest version because all the negative things I heard about the new skin... but after I upgraded.. I realized that I didn't have to use the new skin and was able to contiunue with the same old skin..

works like a charm now..
