I want to move My Files to where Weather is and Weather to My Files on the home menu. I've got the backgrounds and the buttons to go where I want, but how do I change the text? And for the video player, I have the resolution set at best available but all the text for the time in the video and stuff is incredibly small. If I set the resolution to 480p to make the text smaller, will the video still play at the same high resolution. I have an HDTV but it isn't that big.

Sounds like it's playing in 1080i.

If you run the GUI in 480p, why do you want videos to run in 1080i?

Either run both the GUI and videos in 1080i or run them both at 480p

And the button labels are done (unsuprisingly) using the <label> tags.

You can increase the text size, but it's not as simple as selecting something in the gui. It's done via xml. There are various threads around covering this. If you're like me, and you mainly watch videos, you can set the dash to 480p (settings>Appearance) and set the video to 1080i or auto (Settings>Videos>Player).

I tried that, it doesn't decrease the text size. I'll look at the XML and see if I can change it.
