Hi,

Is anyone having trouble with quicktime trailers? If i press cancel while its connecting it always freezes. If i press any button it just plays the sound and nothing happens. It stays in that screen for ample time i have waited but it doesn't do anything after. It happens with anything that uses network whenever i press cancel it always freezes. Luckily, i can still get the shutdown menu so it reboots.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Danny

Yeah, mine does the same thing when I try to watch movie trailers. Mine is just certain trailers though, not all of them. I've tried video calibration, deleting the two files from the quicktime folder inside of userdata and it still seems to freeze on certain ones. They played fine even after I updated to the new version of the skin. It started when I updated the trailers list. Thats the only problem I have right now.

generaly the skin dosen't have interaction with played vidéos. have you watched the codecs it's the first thing you must verify but sometimes the release of xbmc and not skin sometimes have problem.

you can have the codecs at this place (i don't no if i have the right to put link?) :

http://www1.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/codecs/

after you have the last release of codecs (see the date of pack) decompress it and copy all file in repertory of xbmc : Dashboard\system\players\mplayer\codecs

if your ftp programms tell you replace existing file , put no for more security and if is not work remplacing all exesting file. make a save of your old folder codecs for replacing if is not work.

(sorry for my bad english i'm french)

Yes, it happens with certain trailers. But i'm more concerned with the freeze issue, the cancel command when connecting always results in freezing.

yes that canceling thing is annoying.
