Hello, newbie alert here I just put the newest version of XBMC on my Xbox (as an app, EvoX is my Dash). I've been trying to share media from my computer to my xbox. It's not working. I try 'd ccx stream server but the instructions weren't clear enough on how I was supposed to connect to the xbox from the computer. Would a crossover cable work? Or do I need 2 ethernet cables and a router? I'm lost. Any help is greatly appreciated.

you should be fine with whatever setup you use for FTP access, i'm not sure on the details of using a crossover as far as IP settings, so you might look around for those. or just use the autodetect in XBMC?
