I’ve been given an Xbox to try and repair. When you boot the system it used to run really slow to a point where nothing would load, so I done a hot swap to reformat the drive.

The 1st time I attempted this I managed to format the drive but it was just as slow when trying to load. So I thought I would try and get the EEPROM through another hot swap but now the drive doesn’t work Xbox hdm doesn’t find the drive.

Is the Xbox beyond repair or is there a way to write a new file?
