seems to rip files fine, just cant rip ISO

Again try taking off the top. I was getting crc errors then I took off the top and no errors whatsoever after that.

yeah... thats what ive been doing, using my sony DRU-510a. its actually got a detachable bar that goes across, that holds the plastic spinner down on the disk, magnetic so it just pops on and off.

can only seem to rip certain games though... hitman still hasnt worked for me yet.

You will need to change your layout file. Hitman is very specific. I have seen it here before. I will post link if i find it. Everybody has problems with hitman.

The one thing I've noticed is when you edit a layoout file, make sure that you edit the layout you get from the Movie you are using.

I mixed up the layout files the last time (was using the Private Ryan with the T2 movie) and it would rip it, but turn out fucked up (DDE), used the PR with the PR movie and it worked.
