For a custom xbox case mod which case do you guys recommend? Where can I buy these cases from?

Well you can buy replacement cases. Deffinetly go with XCM.. They have like white, silver, traslucent red, traslucent blue, clear (frosted), and maybe some other colors.. possibly translucent green.

You can also paint your own box if you wanted... or pay some one else to do it.

But yea, XCM is your best bet. Try modchipman.com, modchipworld.com, divineo.com, and maybe xboxchopshop.com

I'm looking for a different case instead of the stock shaped xbox case.

you could shoot for an xpod which are pretty much just a big plexi glass box, not oo fancy at all, just a see-thourgh box. they take forver to get too it seems. eh, other than that you wont find much. have to get everything custom after that i think.

i remeber about a year ago a company was offering HTPC style cases designed for the xbox, ive had a look around but cant find the info anymore sorry, IIRC they wanted about £100 (thats about US $185) for the case mad.gif but they did look very nice , could get brushed aluminium or black.
However you may want to try using an HTPC case to put an xbox in or even and old desktop pc case modded up yourself would be cool.

found it http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?act...4&t=376624&st=0

also that thread reminded me about Team Xecuters planned HTPC case that looked like it was going to be really sweet did that ever happen?
