Well i got my Xecuter 2.6CE in this morning, and might i say i was a little afraid

It got really bad when i opened the package (I HAD NO IDEIA THAT THEY WERE THAT SMALL!)

well since i have a 1.0 i took the solder out of the ports, put the pin header in and i was on my journey

well 5 mins later im done, and im like 'no way was it that easy' and it looked EXACTLY like the picture in my manual

so then i solder the d0/hdd/lan cable

the hdd and lan cable were EASY, the d0 was hard, i had to put a litle extra solder on it

well i connect everything and screw everything in and close the case
done

boots up in less than a sec and i see flash bios, i do the flash via http and it WORKED

now i have everything in my sig complete, and the bios on bank 2 is FlashBIOS 3.0.3

im so happy

I wish mine went that smoothly. On the very last lpc point I had to solder, I bridged a trace and the xbox FRAGed. 4 months later (college is very time consuming), scratched off the problem solder and went with a solderless adapter. Smooth sailing the rest of the way ..... except for making a fashable disc but thats another story.

well the pin header was easy

there i was thinking that i would spend HOURS getting it right

but anyway

IM LOVING MY XBMC
ive only ever used UnleashX and this is GREAT

i love streaming my files from my PC

and the ShoutCAST radio, its all wonderful
